Taco Pie
Tacos are super versatile. This also means the ingredients below will NOT be all inclusive. This is simply how we make our taco pie. You can use your favorite toppings to create your own personalized pie here. Directions are set up for three layers, but you can always make a smaller one with only one or two layers.

Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook off your ground beef and prepare following seasoning directions.
- Place sunflower mold on the perforated sheet. Now we can start building our taco pie
- First thing first. Place a sprinkling of cheese on the bottom of the sunflower mold. About a light 1/4 cup if you're measuring. Top with one tortilla. A burrito size fits pretty well in the sunflower mold.
- Now let's start to layer. This is where the guts of your taco go.
- Put about 1/3 of your beef or other protein and then follow with about 1/3 of each of your other toppings. (you will want to make sure you reserve some salsa and or cheese to finish your pie off.) So for us, it would be beef, salsa, corn, beans, and cheese. Finish by topping with another tortilla.
- Repeat for two more layers so that you have a total of three layers.
- Finish with one last tortilla. You will want to top with salsa and or cheese. If you don't, the tortilla will potentially burn and curl some during the cooking progress. I don't seem to have that problem if I put cheese or salsa on top. But you don't want too much because the tortilla on the bottom makes cutting and serving so much easier.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and heated through.
- Let rest for about 5 minutes. Then unmold onto a large plate or serving plate. Enjoy.
